Hi everyone, it’s me yet again.
Yep, full review-wise I’ve still got a bad case of writer’s block, but I’m planning to get out of it next Thursday, as my dad gave me a good suggestion to start writing stuff again.
I am also planning to buy an Elgato capture card in the future, because while I want to include game play samples recorded by me in my reviews, I want them to look presentable.
And the reason for my way too long hiatus during this time may have a bit to do with the fact that I’ve been focusing on my part time job in tech support (which I have been doing really good in, BTW).
In the meantime however, you can follow me on twitter at https://twitter.com/Gamerrethink.
Stay tuned for more reviews.

(TL;DR at the bottom)
Hi guys, it’s me again.
Now, this post would’ve been about my visit to the Nintendo Switch event in Washington D.C., but unfortunately, it was not a successful trip.
When my dad and I got there at 9 AM, the event was already at full capacity, and when one guy asked a question about the wristbands to the event representative she said that all the wrist bands were handed out at 7:30 AM, not 8:30 AM as it said on the website.
I got annoyed upon hearing that, and eventually, we went home.
In the end, I was annoyed at being misled, but I got over it.
See you guys later.

TL;DR: Went to Switch event, all wristbands were handed out at an earlier time, event was already at full capacity

Hey guys, sorry for being late with this post but I’m back from MAGFest 2016!
This years MAGFest, like last year took place at the Gaylord national resort and convention center. I went with my dad for the most part (I was by myself for most of the third day). I had a great time for the most part but on Saturday that was unfortunately ruined once I ended up losing my (likely stolen) 3DS with Super Smash Bros. inserted (I still have the case and manual though) while at the con (keep in mind that Dad warned me not to take it with me to the con). On top of all this I got sick too. Fun night. -_- I then went to the Lost and found of the conference for help but they couldn’t find it which means I have to shell out more cash to buy a new one. The employees at the Gaylord hotel were of no help either as even they couldn’t find it.
Oh, and I also entered a NERF war which Dad captured on my phone and I entered an attendee run tournament of The New Tetris for N64.
Overall I had a good time at the con which was squandered hard by me losing an expensive handheld and getting sick for 1 1/2 weeks.
Stay tuned for more reviews.
Hello everyone, it’s me again.
I’ll be going to this year’s MAGFest! For those who don’t know about the convention, you can check their website at magfest.org
I had a great time at last year’s MAGFest despite the fact I only went on Sunday.
I also went to their throwback con MAGFest 8.5 in 2014.
The only problem I had with the former con was the fact that the lines were too long for the pinball machines.
Anyways, I hope to have a great time at MAGFest.
See you guys when the con is over!

Hello everyone, it’s me again. Yeah, I’ve been getting a bad case of writers’s block review-wise, but don’t worry, I’ve still got some reviews I wanna post to the site.
Now that that is out of the way, I’d like to talk about my experience at Super Smash Con this August. I went with my dad and some of my cousins, and I pretty much a had a great time.
They had tournaments, vendors, arcade cabinets, indie games, etc.
My favorite part of the experience was the hall of games section. although all of the stuff were Nintendo consoles and games on display (provided by eStarland.com), I thought it was a nice little section to fascinate some video game history buffs.
My worst part of the experience was when we were at the section where we could play if we wanted to. Unfortunately one of the employees at the con said that we have to bring our own controllers. Me, the cousins and Dad didn’t bring one, leading us to buy third party GameCube controllers from eStarland (which was 2 minutes away from the Dulles Expo Center where the con took place).
Overall, I had a great time and hope to go to next year’s MAGFest.
Stay tuned for more reviews!
